Help Kickstart a new Slugs & Bugs CD!!

We are ready to make a new record, folks.  And Slugs and Bugs has jumped on the Kickstarter train!

If you don’t know about Kickstarter, it’s a great new way for artists to fund new projects through pre-orders and special purchases from their fan base.   You can read all about it at our new Kickstarter page.  There are amazing deals and exclusive rewards available to encourage folks to place an order, but we’ve got a batch of new songs that we think you’ll find worth every penny in the end.  CLICK HERE TO SEE THE KICKSTARTER PAGE

Ben Shive is producing the record with me, Andrew Peterson has co-written a number of the songs and will play a substantive role on the record, and the songs mix silliness, sweetness and truth in ways that I think you’re going to love.  Here’s a few of the song titles to look forward to…

The Pajama Song
Where You Gonna Go
I’m Adopted
Lightning Bug
There’s a Hole in My Sock
Under Where?
Tell It To Jesus
Dizzy
I Wanna Help
God Made You Special
God Makes Messy Things Beautiful
Mexican (food) Rhapsody

I hope you’ll consider visiting the Kickstarter page to check out the cool rewards (and the ridiculous video). And please pass the word around facebook and twitter as well.  We’ve got 43 days to raise the money for the budget (and with Kickstarter, if you don’t reach your goal, you don’t receive a penny).

But hopes are high.  Between the coloring pages, the Slugs & Bugs videos, the liner note mentions, and, oh yes… the new music – we think every fan will find something worthwhile.

So thank you for checking out the Kickstarter page, and thanks for helping Spread the word!
